Sometimes we have to travel far, far away to
come back home to the only thing that transcends time and space: LOVE.
On this journey we will dive deep in ceremony, enjoy the most delicious organic plant-based delicacies, bond with fellow community and integrate our experience through movement, breath work, meditation, medicine music and bundle up by the fire under the stars.
We will embrace the nature of this medicine that calls for both deep introspection and wondrous star gazing and enjoyment of our fellow humans and beautiful natural surroundings.
The Setting
Welcome to your serene desert oasis located on 10 acres of beauty, adjacent to Joshua Tree National Park! We will spend the days under the golden sun and the evenings bundled up by the fire pit under a blanket of stars. Rooms are modern desert chic and the space is the perfect setting to support your journey.

I am profoundly grateful for my experience with Sacred Gatherings. Through it, I have opened a world not previously known to me, and in doing so I have opened my heart and soul in a way that few others have; and that is indeed profound.

Meet The Facilitators
Danny Byrne
Sacred Ceremony Facilitator and Musician
As a graduate of Berklee College of Music and self taught guitarist from the age of ten, Danny is a skilled musician and offers a deeply grounding energy. He began his medicine work in 2015 and has been facilitating sacred ceremonies for over 8 years. Danny has the innate ability to synchronize his music and guardianship with the vibe of the room. His music project Harmala combines synths, guitar and vocal looping, chanting and sounds of the jungle. Danny brings a modern approach to meditative and ceremonial music, one that does not compromise the intimacy and sensitivity of the shamanic setting.
Malia Carvalho
Kundalini Yoga Guide & Sacred Ceremony Facilitator and Musician
Malia began her spiritual journey in 2015 when she swam with a pod of wild dolphins off the shore of Hawaii where her parents were born and raised. This experience began a whole journey of sacred plant medicine, Kundalini yoga, finding her authentic voice, igniting her musicianship and learning and practicing the art of tantra. Her journey has lead her to connecting deeply with her feminine nature and she invites all those around her to fall ecstatically in love with their own. She has been a ceremony guardian since 2016 and guiding journeys with her husband Danny since 2018. She holds women's retreats and offers classes at their home known as the South Bay Healing Sanctuary.
Michel Franco

Meet Michel Franco, a highly skilled and innovative culinary expert based in Los Angeles. Born in Mexico, Michel learned to cook as the oldest of six children, taking on the responsibility of feeding her siblings while her parents worked. Her passion for cooking stems from a deep desire to love, care for others, and bring healing through food. Michel caters to patrons with varying dietary needs and eclectic tastes and draws inspiration from all over the world, always using the freshest organic ingredients.
